I have moved back to Vancouver and I am finding it very strange. It feels like the city has changed and grown up a bit since I left. It just seems different, though I'm not sure I can explain how.

My new apartment is pretty nice, but it is freezing cold and I do not like being cold. The cats hate it because they are used to living in a house with zero noise from other tenants, and now we have people clomping in the hallway and upstairs. Dorian spent most of the day crammed behind the washer dryer. It's also smaller than our last place, which means our stuff is crammed into every nook and cranny (especially in the kitchen).

I am super excited about certain things in Vancouver: better shopping, cheap and good indian food and sushi (Victoria sushi is expensive and mostly bad, indian food in Victoria is even worse) and I can't think of anything else, because now I am thinking about sushi. There is a crazy looking japanese restaurant right across the street from my house, and about 5 within 3 minutes of my work. My mercury levels are about to go up.
